While we’ve made so secret of our appreciation for Cody Caissie, Tristan Harris, and David Romero in past issues, this time we’re also happy to introduce two new arrivals: queer-friendly Jérôme Bertrand, and photojournalist Anna Grigorian. We hope to see a lot more of all of them in publications and galleries near you.

Part of our August issue’s “Camera Work” series dedicated to our favorite photographers of the moment, photojournalist Anna Grigorian is an exception in almost every way. A mother of two, and recent arrival from her native Armenia, Grigorian’s work is a testament to courage, pain, and resilience.

New Yorker Edwin Pabon (pronounded pa-BONE) has a big, hot, tradition to live up to as a photographer of male erotica. We caught up with him to talk about his delicious male models and the method behind his butt-loving Tumblr blog THE GAGGER for our Valentine’s and New York issues.

Thanks to 2Bmag’s in-house photographer and photo director extraordinaire César Ochoa, US-based anti-marriage activist group Against Equality (AE) is auctioning off a large photo print of Ryan Conrad from the “Naked Ambitions” racy photo shoot in our November Sex + Health issue.

Drasko Bogdanovic has been a favorite photographer of mine since I started at 2Bmag last year. Whenever I want to show something sexy that pushes the envelope, I know who to call. Based in Toronto, but with a raw, European sensibility, Bogdanovic is one of those workaholic photographers who just can’t get enough—as his published work in DNA, Blu, Ticketohell (Spain’s answer to BUTT magazine), and even the Globe and Mail attests. He is currently working on a on a new book and large exhibition of kink and s/m photos for spring and summer 2012.

For our sex + health issue, which hits stands today, we wanted to do something simple and sexy with emerging queer artists, writers, and activists who have something gay and powerful to say.
